comments: i was very interested in having something done to enlarge my
chest only slightly just to give me that little extra boost and shape.
Although after reviewing everything that could happen i was horrified to
see the side-effects starting to come out of the closet and can only
hope that someone will start working on finding ways to give
these women back what they have lost rather than continuing
with finding ways to introduce new methods of breast implants,
pretending that nothing will go wrong and covering up old mistakes.
Although i am now very disappointed in finding that it is too
much of a risk to have implants, i hope that someone
out there can suggest natural ways to improve the build of breasts
and keep them that way through ageing if we want to feel better
about ourselves. i am simply horrified with the
greed of today's society in promoting and persuading women of
today that this is the only way to better ones self, that a woman
is not good enough without this remedy. i do understand the
situation of many women where they are embarrassed and feel
themselves 'not worthy' and mainly uncomfortable with small or
sometimes non existant breasts (as in my case)but hope that we
can all just convey an attitude of accepting us the way we are
or not at all! Let's face it, we are doing this only for the
men. Okay, many will say they are doing it to feel better in
themselves, but think about it, would breast implants even have
been suggested (invented) if it were not for men? i'm not saying
there's anything wrong with
looking good for our man, but not when it means altering our
identity. we are what we are, whether fat, thin, large chested
or a simple hand-full - what would this
world be without a little variety to choose from. i don't want
to sound like a preacher, but seeing just what remedies women
will go through, with irreversable side-effects, just makes me
sick and i feel very bad for them. If you want bigger breasts,
get your man to massage them regularly - trust me, it works
wonders and it should keep you both happy!!!

He said they would do the operation for free but I had to buy the implants ($90 a piece)if I wanted them. He then said that he thought too many women are too worried about their looks and not enough about their minds. He told me I ought to go to college instead of worrying about my boobs. I listened to him and ended up with a Master's degree. Now 20 years later the old thought has come back into my mind again. I am a 38 AA and i have no cup. The 38 is my back!! It would be nice to find a bra to fit. My husband says women with large breasts look like cows that need milking. He says he loves me as i am and so does Jesus. After reading your web page I believe that once again God has intervened and shown me that He has created me perfect. I would rather make my own bras then to go thru the pain and suffering that most have gone thru. Granted there were one or two who are happy but I would worry over every ache and pain if i had this done. Thank you for your web page. I have Inflammatory arthritis throughout my whole body. I take numerous medications to control these symptoms but nothing seems to help. I am totally disabled and have been since May 18, 1998 due to these health problems. I truly believe these problems are caused by the silicone breast implants. AFTER A FEW MONTHS LATER A NOTICED ONE OF MY BRAST UP HIGHER AN TIGHTER THAN THE OTHER SO HERE I GO BACK TO THE DR. WHERE HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THE BREAST HAD ENCAPSULATED AND THE BEST THING TO DO AT THIS POINT WAS TO HAVE A CAPSULECTOMY DONE TO LOOSEN AND FREE THE BRAST FROM THE SCAR TISSUE THAT WAS FORMING AROUND IT, SO THERE I GO AGAIN INTO SURGERY NO.3. WELL ITS BEEN 2 MONTH SINCE SURGERY NO.3 AND GUESS WHAT BOTH OF MY BREAST ARE AGAIN ENCAPSULATED BEFORE IT WAS JUST ONE NOW ITS BOTH. JUST YESTERDAY I WAS AT MY DR. I have developed many health problems over the years and none of the diseases "run in the family" . I have loose silicone in my rib cage that can not be removed. I have silicone in my lungs and silicone crystals all over my body. I'm mad as hell that my good health has been ruined and DOW CORNING still says it wasn't caused by their implants. No amount of money can replace me as a mother ,sister and grandmother when I die from this!!!!! My husband married a women 12 years younger than him and now will have to take care of me forever. Why ? Dow Corning can not walk away from this without taking the full BLAME for it.The CEO'S should be made to have mandatory implant surgery . If its safe for me then its safe for them. I have a video tape of the explanted material that was removed from my chest cavity.It was horrible ,sticky ,nasty mass that will ultimatly be the reason for my early death. To top it all ,I found out the other day that the thousands of dollars that I 've spent over the years on pain medication was sold to me by DOW CORNING!!! today I don't know what will happen to us all but Dow Corning will emerge unscathed and thusfar have been allowed to commit murder against women for the sake of profit. My implants were put in to replace diseased breast tissue when I was only 23 years old. I was told that they were completely safe,good for a life time and I could even breast and future children. I'm thankful today that I never had more children. This is just not right!!!!! They should not have to get them just to save their marrage or even to get a husband. I believe that implants should be banned off the face of the earth. I need advice on a solution as to having them removed .. I do not trust any doctor so I am in very serious shape at the present time/ What do I think of breast implants??? Later I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a lumpectomy and 8 wks of radiation I am free of cancer. I cannot prove correlation of my b cancer and silicone but I'm sure that the silicone, my dr. could not remove, was involved in my breast cancer. It's coincidental that the cancer was located in the spot where I had an unhealed lesion after the explantation surgery for 6 mths. The remaining silicone has migrated to other parts of my body and caused other physical problems. For example, I had surgery on my foot, my dr. reported that when he cut between my toes a large ball of yellow substance popped out. The dr. was unable to determine what it was. Now I realize that it must have been migrating silicone. I've read reports, and drs concur, that roaming silicone can cause granulomas in the body. You want to know what I think about breast implants---- I can't think of anything else that would cause your body to become so sick. My heart goes out to all my sisters who suffer because we were naive enough to believe that the implants were not harmful. I would be happy to hear from others...... Good luck to all. |
